  1. Place an insulated closed-end connector onto dies of a corresponding crimping tool by hand and clamp it lightly with the tool to keep it from falling off. (The connector should not be deformed by the clamping.)
  2. Insert a strip end or ends of wire into the connector and push the wire until the wire insulation comes in contact with the outer edge of the connector as shown above. For stranded wire, twist all strands of the conductor together before insertion.
  3. To crimp the connector, close the handles of the tool until it clicks. The ratchet device operates and the dies are released automatically after clicking. The assembly completed.
